DLDDK started as three creative weirdos and whatever friends drifted within arm’s reach of a microphone. At our feet, old dogs with legendary gas contributed their own atmosphere. For ten years—2011 to 2021—we packed ourselves into the same tiny Pasadena studio and played with absolute abandon. No rehearsals. No plans. No “maybe we should think this through.” We just turned everything on and let it rip.
Every lyric you hear was improvised in the moment. Every song was born out of chaos, laughter, and the kind of questionable decision‑making that usually leads to either great art or an electrical fire. Luckily, we mostly got the art.
We’re sharing it now exactly as it came out of us: unfiltered, unpolished, and weird in all the right ways. Listen with an open mind, and who knows—you might find yourself under the spell of DLDDK too.
